Defibrillator: Our Club has a very big THANK YOU to announce. Following our publication that we are holding a fundraiser for the purchase of a new defibrillator for our Clubhouse, the Club was approached by former club member Francis Lee, who stated he would like to cover the cost of the purchase and installation of our new defib and sponsor same. We are all so thankful for this very kind donation and would like to thank most sincerely Francis Lee and his family, for remembering our club while they are so far from home. As a result the money raised in our Table Quiz fundraiser this weekend will go towards training for the defibrillator. Please contact our club should you wish to go on our list for training in the near future.

Big Clean-Up at Shannon Gaels: The Big Clean Up scheduled for this Saturday 29th March has been postponed. A new date and time will be decided and shared soon.

Green Club: This is a great initiative by the GAA and it’s a great opportunity for the club to take part in the programme for the first time this year. Jungle Fundraiser Stage Show: Shannon Gaels GAA & Glenfarne Kiltyclougher GAA Clubs proudly present Jungle Fundraiser Stage Show, which will take place on Saturday 25th October 2025 at The Rainbow Ballroom Glenfarne. 24 brave contestants will enter the Jungle to perform a series of trials, but there will be only 1 King or Queen of the Jungle! Table Quiz Fundraiser For A New Defibrillator: Table Quiz followed by Music with Seany Mac to raise funds for a new defibrillator – a vital, lifesaving piece of equipment. Litter Pick: Blacklion Tidy Towns are having thier first litter pick of the year on Sunday February 9th. If any of our members / supports / players are around and free to help please do. Meeting at 11.30am in the Market House. Gloves, litter pickers and bags will be provided. There will be free tea, coffee & pastries afterwards as a thank you to all the volunteers.
